Our organization in Mason City, Iowa, is thrilled to announce a fantastic opening for a Board Certified/Board Eligible non-invasive General Cardiologist to become a part of our Cardiology department. We are a physician-owned, multi-specialty group dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare.
Key Responsibilities- Join a dynamic team of 10 physicians, 10 fellows, and 7 Nurse Practitioners.
- Participate in a 1:6 call rotation, with the potential for additional call opportunities offering $500 per diem, and fellows will take first call.
- Provide a comprehensive range of cardiology services, including non-invasive, invasive, interventional, and electrophysiology, in collaboration with cardiac and vascular surgery teams.
- Engage in training opportunities through our Cardiology fellowship program, which includes 3 residents per year and an interventional Cardiology Fellowship accepting 1 fellow annually.
- Participate in outreach initiatives at one of our 10 critical access hospitals within our 14-county network.
- Primary service area encompasses approximately 260,000 residents.
- Positioned at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center, a 342-bed regional referral teaching hospital.
- Equipped as a Level III Trauma Center with a 24/7 staffed Emergency Department, hospitalist services, helicopter access, and advanced catheterization labs.

Compensation and Benefits- Attractive bonus package of $100,000.

- Graduation from an accredited medical or osteopathic medical school is essential.
- Completion of a relevant residency program demonstrating competency as a physician.
- Ability to obtain medical staff privileges at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa.
- Must be licensed or eligible for a physician license in the State of Iowa; candidates should be in the top 15% nationally in academic achievement tests.
