Job Responsibilities- Work 12-hour shifts, either days from 7 AM to 7 PM or nights from 7 PM to 7 AM.
- Commit to 12 shifts per month, with a willingness to alternate between day and night shifts.
- Manage a patient load of 5 to 10 per shift.
- Serve as an in-house OB hospitalist in a labor and delivery unit.
- Access laborist back-up and perinatology support as needed.
- Handle both high and low-risk obstetrics, including c-sections, VBACs, and surgical gynecology.
- Perform and interpret OB ultrasounds at Levels I and II.
- Conduct amniocentesis and repair 3rd and 4th degree lacerations.
- Hourly pay ranges from $150.00 to $225.00, depending on various factors such as the urgency of the position and your qualifications.
- Weekly payment with negotiated rates that include base pay and potential earnings from overtime, call, and holiday work.
