Step into an impactful role supporting students’ growth for the 2026-2027 school year as a full-time Occupational Therapist, working in a positive and collaborative educational environment near Kenosha, WI. This contract opportunity places you at the heart of a dedicated team, where your expertise helps young learners reach their potential.
You’ll manage a caseload of 35-45 students, with a primary focus on elementary ages. Benefit from the support of two skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) who collaborate with you to deliver high-quality services. Ideal candidates should have:
- Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Wisconsin
- Previous experience in a school-based OT setting (preferred)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement intervention plans to accommodate diverse student needs
- Comfort working with elementary students and adapting therapy to various learning abilities
Responsibilities include:
- Assessing students’ functional abilities and planning interventions tailored to their needs
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and team members to maximize student success
- Documenting progress, preparing relevant reports, and participating in IEP meetings
- Supervising and coaching COTAs to ensure consistency and quality of care
- Promoting a supportive and inclusive environment for all students
Competitive pay is offered from $45-50 per hour, depending on experience.
