Job Description
Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting students’ growth and communication development in a vibrant school setting near Chandler, AZ. As a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC), you’ll make a meaningful impact with a PK-6th grade caseload of approximately 50-70 students. Your work schedule runs Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, beginning in October and continuing through the end of the school year, ensuring you can dedicate your skills to fostering student success.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid Arizona SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous school-based experience preferred, especially with elementary populations
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, teachers, and families
- Ability to independently manage a moderate caseload and deliver both direct and consultative services
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for PK-6th grade students
- Develop and implement IEP goals and specialized therapy plans tailored to each child’s needs
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of services, progress notes, and evaluations
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams
- Support classroom teachers and provide resources to enhance academic success for students with communication challenges
