Travel Hospital Pediatric Pharmacist - Fort Worth, Texas

This opportunity is for a night pharmacist at a children’s hospital located in Fort Worth, TX. The role requires a licensed pharmacist with strong inpatient and pediatric pharmacy experience. You will be responsible for managing medication distribution and ensuring safe pharmaceutical care during the night shift in a pediatric setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide pharmaceutical care to pediatric inpatients ensuring accuracy and safety
• Manage medication dispensing and inventory control using EPIC and Pyxis systems
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Adhere to hospital policies and regulatory requirements
• Serve as a resource for medication-related inquiries during the night shift

Qualifications:

• Valid Texas pharmacist license is required
• Experience with inpatient pharmacy operations and pediatric patients highly preferred
• Proficiency with EPIC and Pyxis pharmacy technology systems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently during night hours
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Schedule:

• Night shift from 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• Work schedule consists of 7 days on followed by 7 days off
• Potential transition later to day shift to cover FMLA through January 13, 2027

Assignment Details:

• Travel role with relocation to Fort Worth, TX
• Immediate start date with a 6-month assignment duration
