Cath Lab Technologist in Groton, NY

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule/Hours:

• Standard weekday shifts with occasional on-call or extended coverage as needed

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Demonstrated experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, including strong imaging skills in a cardiac catheterization setting
• Current credentials in radiologic technology and/or registered Cardiac Interventional Radiography (RCIS or equivalent) preferred
• Up-to-date BLS/ACLS certification
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team including physicians, nurses, and technicians
• Familiarity with catheter-based diagnostics, angioplasty, stent placement, and related interventional procedures
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare and assist patients undergoing catheterization and interventional procedures
• Operate imaging equipment to capture high-definition images in real time
• Support physicians with equipment handling, contrast administration, and inventory management
• Monitor patient vital signs and communicate promptly any changes or concerns
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-stocked laboratory environment
• Accurately document procedures and patient information per facility protocols
