Acute Care Pharmacist

Join a well established acute care hospital as an Evening Shift Pharmacist supporting central pharmacy operations. This 13 week contract offers a consistent 7on/7off schedule, competitive weekly pay, full time benefits such as medical, dental, vision, etc., and a strong possibility of extension. Position Details

• 13 week contract with strong extension potential
• Evening shift: 2:30 PM - 12:30 AM
• 7 on / 7 off schedule (Thursday-Wednesday; schedule may vary based on guaranteed hours)
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Competitive weekly pay

Responsibilities

• Verify and check medication products using EPIC dispensing workflows
• Verify IVs, premixed medications, creams, insulin pens, crash carts, kits, and prepackaged medications
• Coordinate workflow within the central pharmacy
• Ensure crash carts and medication supplies are accurately restocked
• Provide daily operational oversight and direction to pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow

Requirements

• Active Missouri Pharmacist License
• At least 1 year of pharmacist experience (new graduates will also be considered)
• Experience with EPIC required
• Strong medication verification and central pharmacy workflow experience
• Comfortable overseeing technician workflow in a fast-paced hospital environment
