Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) in Speech-Language Pathology for school-based practice.
  • Experience providing speech and language services in a school setting preferred.
  • Strong collaboration skills with ability to communicate professionally with teachers, staff, and families.
  • Solid organizational abilities for managing caseloads, documentation, and progress monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
  • Provide direct therapy and support for students in both individual and group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support students’ success in the classroom.
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate with families about student goals and achievements.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and professional development activities as needed.
