This contract opportunity begins August 24th (tentatively) and offers you the chance to make a real difference within an Early Learning setting, right near Belfair, WA. As a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), you’ll collaborate closely with educators and families to help young learners reach their fullest potential.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current SLP - CCC certification required
  • Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site speech and language therapy services for early learning and developmental preschool students
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations, participate in Child Find screenings, and support IEP meetings before or after the student day as needed
  • Maintain flexible support, including itinerant services and potential Transition to Kindergarten support, depending on caseload
  • Coordinate with team members to develop, review, and implement IEPs
  • Document services, maintain progress notes, and communicate with families regarding student development

Schedule:

  • Full-time: Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours per week
  • Staff hours: 8:45 am – 4:15 pm, while the student day runs 9:10 am – 4:00 pm
  • Developmental Preschool: No students on Wednesdays; planning and support work occurs
  • Meetings and evaluations may take place before or after student hours
