Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Nebraska SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome to apply
- Prior experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Passion for working with K-12 students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students
- Work with teachers and staff to support language development within the classroom
- Document student progress and communicate results to families, teachers, and other stakeholders
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal requirements
