Job Description

This full-time contract role offers the chance to work closely with young learners, fostering communication skills that will benefit them throughout their academic journey. The assignment runs from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027, with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule totaling 37.5 hours per week.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience working with pediatric or school-age populations
- Healthcare or educational setting background
- Strongly prefer candidates with an active North Carolina SLP license
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Collaborative approach to working with teachers, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to an elementary caseload of approximately 43 students
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans tailored to each individual’s needs
- Maintain accurate records and document progress in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education programs
- Engage in consultations with educators and parents to support student success
- Implement best practices based on current research in pediatric speech-language therapy
