Qualifications:

  • Valid certification as a Sign Language Interpreter
  • Skills and experience working with school-aged students (preferably high school)
  • 4.0 or higher EIPA score, with completion of the written exam
  • Commitment to in-person, full-time assignment from 9/3/2026 to 6/15/2027
  • Dedicated to providing individualized, one-on-one interpreting services

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a trusted communication partner for one high school student in an educational setting
  • Facilitate clear, accessible classroom communication between student, teachers, and peers
  • Support student engagement and inclusion in all learning activities
  • Collaborate with the educational team to meet the student’s language and learning needs
