Ingleside, TX, US Full Time

Job Description

Job Description

Step into a dynamic educational environment serving the Southeast Texas Coast as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist. Full-time responsibilities (40 hours per week) begin in early August and continue through the end of May, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact during the entire school year.

This opportunity has a strong preference for an on-site presence, though highly qualified virtual candidates will also be considered. The role’s key focus will be the supervision of district SLPAs, with standard SLP duties as part of your varied week. You’ll collaborate with school staff and interface with the Frontline/E-Sped platform, supporting student communication development across a range of age groups. School assignments and caseload specifics are yet to be determined, and flexibility around these elements is important.

Interviews are planned to commence after August 3rd, so there’s still time to express your interest and complete any necessary credentialing.

What we’re looking for:

  • Hold an active Texas SLP license
  • Experience or readiness to supervise SLPAs in a school setting
  • Proficiency with the Frontline/E-Sped platform is highly desired
  • Must meet time-sensitive credentialing, including Texas fingerprinting (if not already completed)
  • Candidates must not have worked as a former employee in this district

Role responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor school-based SLPAs
  • Deliver direct and consultative SLP services as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation using relevant platforms
  • Collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff

If you’re passionate about fostering student success and eager to take on a leadership role with broad impact, submit your application today and designate whether you’re available for on-site or virtual service. Your expertise could make a difference for students and staff alike!
