Job Description

This full-time, onsite position is ideal for educators passionate about shaping students’ curiosity and engagement through dynamic lesson planning and hands-on learning experiences. The assignment spans from August 17 through May 27, 2027, offering you the rewarding challenge of instructing at the middle school level within an engaging educational environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with appropriate science endorsements.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective curriculum and instruction tailored to middle school learners.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Prior experience teaching science at the elementary or middle school level preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging science instruction to 6th-grade students, aligning lessons with district and state standards.
- Develop lesson plans, tests, and assessments to monitor and support student growth.
- Integrate scientific inquiry and project-based learning to encourage critical thinking.
