We are seeking a skilled and motivated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a vibrant school community near Jacksonville, FL for the 2026–2027 academic year. This opportunity involves full-time, on-site work—bring your expertise directly to students in a traditional school setting.
In this role, you will:
- Provide direct speech and language services to a diverse student caseload as assigned by supervising SLPs.
- Collaborate closely with teachers and families to support student progress and facilitate carryover of communication strategies.
- Document all services provided and track student progress in accordance with school policy.
- Participate in IEP meetings as required and contribute to the development of students’ communication goals.
- Support a single school site, allowing you to build deep, meaningful relationships with students and staff.
Qualifications:
- Current, active FL DOH SLPA licensure.
- At least 2 years of SLPA work experience, including a minimum of 6 months in K-12 schools.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills.
- Must complete fingerprinting and meet time-sensitive credentialing requirements, including AHCA Clearinghouse verification and JLA badge process.
