Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Bainbridge, NY

This full-time position runs from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, serving a general education caseload in a school setting. You'll be working with students who have previously participated in virtual speech programs and occupational therapy, and your expertise will help ensure continuity and quality of care for these learners.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Experience in school-based settings, specifically working with K-8 populations
• Strong background in fluency and speech interventions
• Ability to adapt therapy methods for both in-person and remote learning settings
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy to K-8 students within a general education environment
• Manage a varied caseload of students with primarily fluency and speech needs
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to develop and implement individualized intervention plans
• Maintain and document student progress and therapy outcomes in alignment with school and district requirements
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP processes
• Stay current with evidence-based practices and adapt strategies as needed
