With a focus on collaborative, student-centered care, you will work alongside educators and families to assess, diagnose, and treat students’ speech and language needs. Your expertise will help students succeed both academically and socially within the North Elementary School environment.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid state SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school-based setting
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and effectively track student progress
  • Passion for teamwork and open collaboration with multidisciplinary staff

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Deliver engaging and evidence-based therapy, both individually and in group sessions
  • Monitor and document students’ progress, adapting interventions as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings, consult with staff and parents, and provide guidance on communication strategies
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom experience to maximize student success
