Job Description
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An immediate contract opportunity is available for an experienced Infusion Pharmacist to support pharmacy operations in Greensboro, NC. This role requires 3-5 days per week commitment, with flexible scheduling to meet coverage needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Review and verify medication orders related to infusion therapies.
- Oversee preparation and dispensing of sterile compounded medications.
- Ensure compliance with USP standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide clinical support and expert drug information to healthcare staff and patients.
- Collaborate closely with the pharmacy team to optimize workflow and ensure patient safety.
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold all regulatory compliance.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active North Carolina Pharmacist license in good standing is required.
- Recent experience in infusion or home infusion pharmacy practice.
- Strong expertise in sterile compounding techniques.
- In-depth familiarity with USP guidelines and related standards.
- Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to evolving environments.
Schedule:
- 3 to 5 days per week with specific dates to be confirmed.
Additional Information:
- Pharmacist-in-Charge responsibilities are not required during the contract assignment unless converted to permanent hire.
- Candidates must be willing to assume Pharmacist-in-Charge duties if hired permanently.
