Travel Pharmacist / Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) - Outpatient Retail Pharmacy

Position: Travel Pharmacist / Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC)
Assignment: 13-Week Contract with Potential for Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (1-Hour Lunch)
Pay: $60/hour + Travel Package

RPh on the Go is seeking a Colorado-licensed Travel Pharmacist for a 13-week assignment at an outpatient retail pharmacy. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced retail pharmacist looking to step into a Pharmacist-in-Charge role. Candidates with strong retail experience who have not yet served as PIC are encouraged to apply, as the client is willing to consider qualified Staff Pharmacists for the position.

This assignment also offers the potential to transition into a permanent position.

Pharmacy Details
Pharmacy software: Liberty
Approximately 200 prescriptions on Mondays
Approximately 125 prescriptions Tuesday through Friday

Responsibilities
Verify and dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently
Oversee daily pharmacy operations
Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
Provide medication counseling and exceptional patient care
Collaborate with pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow and operational excellence
Perform Pharmacist-in-Charge responsibilities, as applicable

Qualifications
Active, unrestricted Colorado Pharmacist License
Retail pharmacy experience required
Previous pharmacy management or PIC experience is preferred but not required
Strong Staff Pharmacists with retail experience are encouraged to apply
Excellent communication and organizational skills
