Step into an exciting opportunity as a Physical Therapist serving students across multiple school sites for the upcoming 26/27 academic year. This full-time, onsite contract role is based near San Bernardino, CA, with a central focus on delivering exceptional therapy services to a diverse student population throughout the Riverside area. The position is itinerant, meaning adaptability and a passion for working in varied learning environments are essential.

You may also be called upon to supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs), further developing your leadership skills within the educational setting.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid California Physical Therapist (PT) License
  • Experience working in California schools is required
  • Bilingual Spanish is highly preferred
  • Comfortable traveling between school locations throughout the week
  • Experience or interest in supervising PTAs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct, onsite physical therapy services to students according to their individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Accurately document sessions, track student goals, and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
  • Travel between various school sites as part of an itinerant service model
  • Supervise and mentor PTAs as required
