Job Description
Make an impact in the lives of students by providing expert behavioral support across multiple school environments as a full-time BCBA/Autism Specialist for the upcoming 2026–2027 academic year (August–June). This onsite role is dedicated to directly assisting four schools, collaborating closely with educators and specialists to foster positive learning environments for students with autism.
Your expertise in conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), developing tailored Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and coaching staff will be vital to the schools’ success. The position calls for innovation, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to advocacy and collaboration.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current and active BCBA certification (please include a screenshot with your application)
- Demonstrated experience working as a BCBA/Autism Specialist in a school setting is highly valued
- Proficient in performing FBAs and developing effective BIPs
- Skilled at providing guidance, training, and support to teachers and paraprofessionals on behavior management and autism-specific interventions
- Strong background in supporting specialized classrooms and working with multidisciplinary teams
- Reliable transportation to travel between four school sites is essential
Responsibilities:
- Serve as an onsite consultant for behavior support across multiple campuses
- Conduct thorough FBAs and design individualized BIPs
- Deliver classroom-based coaching for educators and paraeducators
- Promote best practices in autism support through ongoing collaboration and training
- Maintain timely, clear communication, and adhere to all attendance and reporting protocols
- Ensure compliance with background check and drug screening requirements
