Job Description
Our client is a global, luxury retail brand looking to add an HRBP to their close-knit US corporate team and support its growing US business. This will be the sole HR person in the US, supporting a retail workforce across several locations, working closely with local leadership and an established global HR team. The HRBP will process payroll and benefits, support key projects, and handle employee relations/performance management. 5 days onsite in SoHo, up to $95K. Client Details The client is a global luxury retail brand that is continuing to expand its US presence. They are looking to bring on an HRBP to help support the retail populations in the US as they continue to scale. This person will sit with their small US corporate team in SoHo, 5 days a week. Description Act as the primary HR point of contact for all US retail employees Process payroll for retail employees through ADP Ensure compliance with New York labor laws and compliance with handbooks Support retail managers with any issues that need to be escalated (employee relations, recruitment, etc.) Manage benefits administration (medical, dental, vision) Lead open enrolment and act as the key contact with benefits vendors and brokers Track and report on key people metrics, contributing to meaningful global projects Profile 5 years of experience as an HRBP or similar role Strong background in retail and/or hospitality, ideally within New York Strong knowledge of NY labor laws Hands-on experience running payroll (hourly, tips, expenses, etc.) Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable owning processes end to end Confident working independently while partnering closely with managers Job Offer Salary up to $95K +bonus Opportunity to join an established, luxury retail company as they continue to expand in the US Great work culture and in-office environment Exposure to global HR teams and projects 5 days onsite in SoHo with meal options onsite Opportunity to own impactful projects and lead the HR function in the US MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
