Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced HRIS Specialist for a long-term contract opportunity supporting a public sector human resources environment in West Palm Beach, FL. This onsite role is ideal for a detail-oriented HR systems professional who enjoys improving HR technology, supporting users, maintaining accurate employee data, and helping teams make informed decisions through reporting and analytics.
The HRIS Specialist will serve as a key resource for HRIS administration, system optimization, project support, reporting, documentation, and user training. This opportunity offers a stable Monday through Friday schedule, meaningful public sector work, and the chance to collaborate with HR, IT, Payroll, Finance, and departmental leaders in a professional and service-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain the HRIS, including configuration, security settings, user permissions, data workflows, system updates, and quality checks.
- Support HRIS enhancements, upgrades, integrations, testing, troubleshooting, and end-user support in coordination with HR, IT, Payroll, Finance, and vendors.
- Create recurring and ad hoc reports, analyze HR data, maintain employee, position, compensation, and organizational records, and support compliance requirements.
- Lead or participate in HRIS and HR technology projects, including project planning, status reporting, requirements documentation, testing plans, risk assessments, and implementation support.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures, workflow documentation, data standards, training materials, and user guides.
- Train HR staff, supervisors, and employees on HRIS functionality while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, transparency, and user experience.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay range: $30 to $35 per hour.
- Job type: Long-term contract/temporary.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Work arrangement: Onsite in West Palm Beach, FL.
