This facility is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Annual volume: Just over 30,000 patients annually
\n
• Physician shift times: 6a-4p, 8a-6p, 12p-10p, 3p-1a, 9p-6a (10-hour shifts)
\n
• NP/PA Coverage: Not specified
\n
• Back up specialties available: Most specialties covered; limited coverage for Neurosurgery/Neurology (25%), Gastroenterology (80%), and Orthopedics (90%). Tele-stroke physicians available and 24/7 Cardiac Cath Lab
\n
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Epic
\n
• Certifications required: Not specified; Board Certified Emergency Medicine (ABEM) required, California State Medical License, Drug Enforcement Administration License (DEA)
