\nWalden is seeking a Adolescent Medicine or Med-Pediatrics Physician to join our multidisciplinary team at our Dedham, MA, location. This physician will play a crucial role in the medical management of patients with eating disorders and co-occurring medical conditions. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative behavioral health setting.
\nPay: $200,000.00-$225,000.00 depending on experience

- Provide comprehensive medical evaluations, treatment, and ongoing management for patients receiving eating disorder treatment at Walden Behavioral Care. \n
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, therapists, dietitians, and nursing staff to ensure holistic, integrated patient care. \n
- Monitor and manage medical complications related to eating disorders, including but not limited to electrolyte imbalances, malnutrition, and refeeding syndrome. \n
- Conduct routine medical assessments and follow-ups, including laboratory review and medication management. \n
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized treatment planning. \n
- Educate patients and families on medical aspects of eating disorders, treatment options, and recovery strategies. \n
- Support transitions of care, including discharge planning and coordination with outpatient providers. \n
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. \n

- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school. \n
- Board certification (or eligibility) in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Adolescent Medicine or Medicine and Pediatrics (both). \n
- Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of Massachusetts (or ability to obtain). \n
- Experience in behavioral health, eating disorder treatment, or hospital-based medicine is preferred but not required. \n
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills, with the ability to manage medically complex patients. \n
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a team-oriented approach to care. \n
