Job Description

This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals dedicated to providing comprehensive care and collaborating with educational teams. In this full-time, full-school-year position, you’ll have the chance to work with a diverse pediatric population, travel between school sites, and lead or supervise Physical Therapy Assistants as needed.
Your experience working within California schools will be highly valued, especially if you thrive in varying environments and can adapt your approach to meet the needs of each campus. Bilingual Spanish skills are preferred, allowing you to reach and communicate with more families and staff. Flexibility is essential as you’ll serve multiple sites and occasionally supervise other therapy professionals. Further details about the assignment will be provided during the interview process.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Physical Therapist license for California.
- Previous experience in a school-based setting within California.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel between sites during the school year.
- Able to supervise Physical Therapy Assistants when required.
- Bilingual Spanish communication skills strongly preferred.
- Strong commitment to supporting student development and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
What You'll Do:
- Deliver direct and consultative physical therapy services to students.
- Assess and document student needs and progress.
- Develop individualized therapy plans and participate in IEP meetings.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families.
- Supervise and mentor PTAs as assigned.
- Travel regularly to serve students across multiple campuses.
