Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current or eligible Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license in Washington State
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
  • Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) mentorship opportunities available
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably within school settings
  • Proficient in teletherapy platforms and remote service delivery (SLP-Teletherapy)
  • SLP Assistant (SLPA) candidates who meet state requirements are encouraged to apply
  • Strong ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and caregivers
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and deliver therapy to students with speech or language impairments
  • Utilize both in-person and telehealth methods to support student needs
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and track progress toward goals
  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and write comprehensive reports
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address academic and functional communication skills
  • Provide guidance to SLPAs, as appropriate
  • Communicate effectively with families regarding student progress
