Step into a rewarding opportunity to support students across multiple school sites in the Santa Clara area as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). With contract positions available for the 2026-2027 school year, you’ll work alongside dedicated educational teams, providing critical assessment and therapeutic support where it’s most needed. Ideal candidates will possess:
- Active SLP-CCC credential, or relevant school-based SLP experience (licensure is preferred, but not required by the district)
- Strong background in conducting speech and language assessments for diverse student populations
- Familiarity with both general education and moderate to moderate-severe caseloads
- Flexibility and adaptability, as assignments rotate between school sites
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills for working with other specialists and educators
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing speech-language services on-site (no virtual roles) for elementary, middle, or high school students, as assigned
- Supporting existing SLP teams to address caseload overloads—in some assignments, you will not serve as the main SLP but provide essential coverage and assessment services
- Managing a caseload between 40-50 students (depending on assignment), with opportunities to serve general education, special education, and preschool populations
- Delivering therapy and conducting evaluations, ensuring compliance with IEP goals and district guidelines
- Working full-time hours in dynamic, supportive environments, with school-based hours typically 8:00am–3:30pm, Monday through Friday
