Bring your passion for supporting students and your expertise as a School Psychologist to a dynamic elementary center. A contract opportunity is available for a dedicated professional who thrives in collaborative educational environments and enjoys making a meaningful impact. This assignment offers flexibility for either full-time or part-time availability (minimum three days per week) and runs from ASAP through June 11, 2027.

Initially, you’ll cover for a maternity leave until mid-January 2027 (subject to change). Should the primary staff member return earlier, your skills will remain vital, transitioning to floating support in evaluations, adult education, and other essential services for the remainder of the school year. You'll be working onsite in a supportive atmosphere alongside committed educators who value input from skilled specialists like you.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid and active Pennsylvania School Psychologist Educator Certificate (required)
  • Experience providing school psychological services, including assessments, consultations, and intervention planning
  • Strong knowledge of best practices in student evaluations and special education processes
  • Flexible, adaptable approach and willingness to float between assignments, as needed
  • Effective communication and team collaboration skills
  • Compassionate, student-centered mindset

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
  • Deliver direct and consultative services to students, staff, and families
  • Develop and assist with implementation of intervention strategies and IEP recommendations
  • Provide crisis intervention and behavioral support as needed
  • Contribute to evaluations, documentation, and compliance with state and federal guidelines
