School-Based Physical Therapist - Tavares, FL

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Florida Physical Therapist license required
• Previous school-based experience strongly preferred, but all licensed candidates will be considered
• Ability to work as part of a collaborative itinerant team
• Comfortable serving a K-12 caseload, including some Pre-K students
• Strong organizational skills to manage documentation and scheduling across multiple sites

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect PT services to students in grades K-12 (and some Pre-K), typically traveling to 2-3 schools daily
• Develop and implement treatment plans, adapting interventions for a variety of student needs
• Collaborate with district PTs, PTAs, educators, and families to maximize student outcomes
• Maintain accurate records, participate in IEP meetings, and complete required documentation
• Fulfill district onboarding including forms, agreements, and timesheet protocols for credentialing
