Registered Behavior Technician in Cicero, IL

Step into a meaningful contract opportunity as a Registered Behavior Technician, supporting elementary students in an engaging educational environment for the 2025-2026 school year. The position spans from late August 2026 through mid-June 2027, offering a predictable Monday through Friday schedule with 35 hours of work per week. Your work hours run from 8:15 AM to 3:45 PM, including a half-hour lunch and two 15-minute breaks each day. This position involves working with a dedicated elementary caseload in a supportive setting, where close, individualized attention is a priority.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Active and current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
• Proven experience working within school environments, especially with elementary-aged children
• Ability to implement behavior intervention plans and collect accurate data
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative approach
• Compassionate, patient, and adaptable in dynamic educational settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 behavioral support to elementary students, following established intervention plans
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and other professionals to promote positive outcomes
• Collect, maintain, and report student data to ensure effective progress monitoring
• Model positive behavioral strategies and reinforce appropriate student behaviors
• Participate in team meetings and professional development, ensuring best practices are utilized
