Position Overview

Are you a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist looking to make a meaningful impact in a school setting? We are seeking a full-time School SLP to join a supportive special education team in Bloomfield, NJ for a maternity leave assignment. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with students across multiple grade levels while collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to help students achieve their communication goals.

Responsibilities

Provide speech-language evaluations and re-evaluations for students.
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals.
Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services.
Collaborate with teachers, school staff, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
Participate in IEP, eligibility, and parent meetings.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines.
Track student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Promote student success through evidence-based intervention strategies.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Active New Jersey Speech-Language Pathologist License.
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply.
Previous school-based or pediatric experience is preferred but not required.
Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.

Compensation for this position ranges from $47.13 to $67.13. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
