Make a difference in students’ lives as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a supportive school environment. This contract opportunity offers both full-time (36 hours per week) and part-time (20 hours per week) options for the upcoming school year, serving elementary students across three nearby school sites (each within a quarter mile). You’ll collaborate closely with an SLP to implement therapy plans and help students achieve their communication goals.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active SLPA license required
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working with elementary-aged children
  • Ability to adapt to traveling between two close campus sites as needed
  • Eagerness to collaborate with speech-language pathologists and other school staff

Responsibilities:

  • Support SLP in delivering speech and language therapy services to an elementary caseload
  • Implement individualized intervention plans in one-on-one or group settings
  • Assist with evaluations, documentation, and tracking of student progress
  • Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment for young learners
  • Participate in school-based meetings and professional development as needed
  • Coordinate mild travel between two of three closely located campuses during the school day
