Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in Psychology or Educational Psychology
- Active State/District licensure for School Psychology (PEL with School Psychologist Endorsement required in IL)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a school-based setting
- Strong commitment to supporting diverse learners and demonstrating core educational values
- Proven record providing comprehensive support for academic, social, and emotional student needs
Responsibilities
- Deliver in-person psychological services and interventions across two K-8 locations in Chicago (caseload of 60, 37.5 hours/week)
- Participate on school-based and network teams (SPED, 504, MTSS) for student screening, evaluation, and planning
- Support compliance with special education, 504, and MTSS requirements and timelines
- Serve as a consultant and lead for MTSS systems and Tier 3 interventions
- Maintain meticulous records, adhere to confidentiality and legislative compliance
- Communicate frequently with parents, educators, and clinicians; offer expertise in child development and learning disorders
