Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity in the Anaheim area as an Occupational Therapist serving in a school-based setting. This assignment covers a maternity leave beginning in early September and continuing through December, with the potential to extend for the full school year. Full-time hours offer the chance to make a significant impact in students’ lives while working alongside an experienced COTA for collaborative support.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid California Occupational Therapist license required
- Experience with school-based occupational therapy preferred
- Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and work in a dynamic environment
- Strong communication and collaborative skills
- Commitment to providing compassionate, student-centered care
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and develop individualized treatment plans for K-12 students
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services per IEPs and best practices
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation of services and progress
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to facilitate student success
- Lead and participate in IEP meetings and student evaluations
- Supervise and partner with an onsite COTA to maximize student outcomes
