School Speech Language Pathologist - Orland Park, IL

This contract opportunity runs from July 2026 through June 2027, working within PreK-8 environments. Key Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Speech-Language Pathologist license and SLP-CCC certification.
• Previous experience in a K-8 or PreK-8 school setting is preferred.
• Bilingual skills in Spanish are highly valued, though not required.
• Ability to work on-site in a school environment and travel between multiple school locations as needed.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy to students based on IEPs and referral needs.
• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and comprehensive assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor student progress.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and support staff to provide integrated services.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines.
• Serve as a resource for school teams regarding speech and language development.
• Engage with families to inform and support student progress.
