Per Diem Pharmacist - Traverse City, MI

An opportunity is available for a skilled Pharmacist to provide exceptional pharmaceutical care in a retail setting. This per diem role offers daytime hours with a structured schedule and a dynamic work environment focused on patient safety and quality service.

Responsibilities include:

• Dispensing medications accurately and efficiently using RX 30 pharmacy software (training provided if needed)
• Providing knowledgeable counseling to patients regarding prescriptions and over-the-counter medications
• Verifying prescriptions and ensuring compliance with state pharmacy regulations
• Collaborating with healthcare providers to resolve issues and optimize patient outcomes
• Maintaining inventory and record-keeping to support pharmacy operations

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current Michigan pharmacy license required
• Previous experience working in retail pharmacy preferred
• Familiarity with RX 30 pharmacy software a plus; training available for those without prior experience
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM (10-hour shifts)
• Rotating Saturdays, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• Position duration: August 17 through September 5
