Take your passion for helping students succeed to the next level in this exciting full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) contract opportunity for the 2026-2027 academic year. As a valued contributor, you’ll support students' communication development across all grade levels, making a meaningful impact in their lives.
This position offers a consistent 32.5-hour workweek, providing stability while allowing you to build strong, ongoing relationships with students, families, and educational teams. You'll work collaboratively with experienced Speech-Language Pathologists and fellow support staff in a friendly, inclusive school setting.
Ideal candidates will bring:
- An active SLPA license/certification in Missouri (or eligibility for one)
- Experience providing therapy in school settings is preferred, though strong new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Adaptability and enthusiasm for working with diverse student populations across a range of age groups and needs
- Solid communication and documentation skills
- Collaborative spirit to work seamlessly alongside educators, therapists, and families
As the SLPA, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering direct and indirect speech-language services under the supervision of an SLP
- Supporting individualized education programs (IEPs) by implementing planned interventions
- Monitoring student progress and collecting data for SLP review
- Assisting with screenings and preparing age-appropriate therapy materials
- Participating in team meetings, trainings, and district initiatives as needed
