Our organization is in search of a Surgical Technologist to assist in a dynamic operating room within a community-oriented acute care environment. This role involves preparing and sustaining a sterile environment, organizing and selecting surgical instruments and supplies, and anticipating the needs of the surgeon during various surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a sterile field and ensure all instruments are ready for use.
• Accurately count and handle surgical instruments and specimens.
• Collaborate effectively with registered nurses, surgeons, and anesthesia teams.
• Utilize instrumentation and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Support patient-centered care initiatives and contribute to quality improvement efforts.
• Adhere to infection control protocols within a respectful, team-oriented atmosphere.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Certification as a Surgical Technologist is preferred.
• Experience in an operating room setting is advantageous.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to anticipate the needs of the surgical team.
