MRI Technologist - Part Time *Sign On*

***This position qualifies for a $5,000 sign on bonus*** The MRI Staff Technologist works under the supervision of the Administrative Supervisor and/or Director, and operates a magnetic resonance scanner to obtain images used by physicians in the diagnosis and treatments of pathologies Selects appropriate imaging techniques and operates console and peripheral hardware; enters and monitors patient data, transfers images from disk to PACS.\nPosition Details:
\nEducation: High School Diploma or equivalent. Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or MRI Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours.
\nExperience: Has acquired experience and possesses capability as determined to be adequate for the position.
\nLicensure/Certifications: Obtained ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT registry or Advanced register eligible (Achieve advanced registry within 18 months of eligibility). BLS Basic Life Support
\nOther Skills & Knowledge:
\n· IV Insertion
\n· Technical skill in medical scanning, understanding of cross sectional anatomy, and 3-D knowledge.
\nWorking Conditions, Mental and Physical Requirements:
\n· Manipulating equipment, lifting, moving, and transporting patients.
\n· Continual standing or walkng.
\n· Adapt to stressful situations.
\nPreferred Education: Bachelor degree
\nPreferred Experience: at least 1 year of relevant experience.
\nPreferred Licensure: ARRT or ARMRIT - 1 Advanced registry (MRI)
