Job Description

You'll primarily serve two elementary schools (grades 1–5) and one middle school, focusing on meaningful consultations and meetings that foster growth for both students and educators. Your skills will be integral in guiding 504 plans, conducting reevaluations, and steering the support systems that students need to thrive. The anticipated caseload includes around 6 active 504 plans and 6 reevaluations; referrals for initial evaluations will develop as the spring unfolds, allowing for a dynamic and engaging workload.
Qualifications:
- Active licensure as a School Psychologist
- Demonstrated experience working in school environments
- Strong consultation, communication, and teamwork abilities
- Proficiency in managing 504 plans, participating in IEP and student support meetings, and conducting evaluations
- Dedication to fostering positive, inclusive environments for students
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological consultations for staff, families, and students
- Participate in and lead meetings focused on 504 plans, student needs, and collaborative support
- Complete reevaluations and initial evaluations as assigned
- Partner with educators and administrators to ensure informed, student-centered decisions
- Support the overall school climate by championing wellness and advocacy
