Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract position supporting K-12 students in the Beloit, WI area as a school-based Occupational Therapist. This role offers an engaging opportunity to contribute to student success, working with a diverse caseload throughout the academic year. Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapy license issued by the State of Wisconsin
- Knowledge and experience with school-based OT practices
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Understanding of IEP development and participation in multidisciplinary team processes
- Ability to adapt interventions for students with varying needs in grades K-12
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students from kindergarten through twelfth grade
- Conduct evaluations, create treatment plans, and document progress
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of appropriate accommodations
- Utilize evidence-based interventions and assistive technology as needed
- Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal regulations and reporting requirements
This school year contract begins August 13, 2026 and concludes May 28, 2027. You’ll work 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, providing vital services to help students thrive.
