Occupational Therapist School Setting - Orland Park, IL

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or closely related field from an accredited institution
• At least three years of prior experience as an occupational therapist, including three years working within a school setting
• Licensed to provide occupational therapy services in the state and registered with the Illinois Department of Financial Professional Regulations
• Proven skills delivering OT services in educational environments
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert occupational therapy services to K-8th grade students across two or three nearby campuses
• Assess students’ needs, develop individualized intervention strategies, and track progress
• Collaborate closely with faculty, special education teams, and families to ensure comprehensive support for each student
• Maintain accurate, compliant records in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines
• Offer staff consultation and education as needed

This position offers the flexibility of part-time hours—approximately 20 hours per week, scheduled over two to three days—which provides you with the freedom to manage your own availability while making a meaningful difference.
