Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing speech-language pathology services in a dynamic, supportive school environment. This engagement begins August 10th, 2026 and runs through June 9th, 2027, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week.
In this role, you’ll serve students primarily at the elementary and middle school levels, with a unique chance to support communication skills across different school settings. The assignment can include a blend of schools, allowing you to build connections with diverse groups and potentially craft a full-time schedule.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Active MD SLP license (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), or Clinical Fellowship Year candidates welcome
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric speech therapy is preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation abilities
- Ability to collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Willingness to work fully onsite
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality speech-language therapy services and conduct evaluations per student IEP requirements
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Document progress, maintain records, and attend IEP meetings
- Consult and collaborate with educational staff and families to support student success in the classroom
- Manage caseloads across one or more elementary or middle schools; potential for full-time placement by combining assignments
