Teletherapy Speech Language Pathologist in AL
Job Description
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide virtual therapy and evaluations. This role requires managing caseloads of up to 60 students in compliance with state certification guidelines.
Location: Virtual assignment servicing multiple elementary and magnet schools in Millbrook, AL.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver both speech therapy and conduct speech-language evaluations for school-aged children.
- Manage a caseload not to exceed 60 students.
- Utilize teletherapy platforms to provide services effectively.
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student communication goals.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is required.
- Current Alabama Educator SLP Certification is mandatory; candidates may begin pending this certification.
- Experience in school-based speech-language pathology preferred.
- Skilled in telespeech or teletherapy service delivery.
- Ability to navigate virtual service models while maintaining typical school communication and reporting standards.
Additional Details:
- Contract dates run from ASAP through May 27, 2027.
- Work schedule consists of 37.5 hours per week.
- Three virtual positions available with possible assignments across multiple school sites, including split caseloads.
