Qualifications & Experience:

• Current Washington LPN license or certification required
• Demonstrated experience with tracheostomy care (required)
• Previous work in a school or pediatric environment a plus
• Ability to engage patiently with students and collaborate with educational staff
• Adaptable, reliable, and empathetic approach

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering professional medical support for a student with a tracheostomy during the school’s afternoon session
• Monitoring student’s health status, documenting care, and communicating significant changes
• Collaborating with teaching staff and parents/guardians to ensure safe, coordinated care
• Managing medical equipment as needed and following all established health protocols
• Supporting the student in building stamina and independence throughout the school year
