A part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is needed for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. You’ll provide skilled onsite support each afternoon—starting with one hour daily, and with the possibility of increasing your involvement as the student’s needs evolve. Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Washington LPN license or certification required
- Demonstrated experience with tracheostomy care (required)
- Previous work in a school or pediatric environment a plus
- Ability to engage patiently with students and collaborate with educational staff
- Adaptable, reliable, and empathetic approach
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering professional medical support for a student with a tracheostomy during the school’s afternoon session
- Monitoring student’s health status, documenting care, and communicating significant changes
- Collaborating with teaching staff and parents/guardians to ensure safe, coordinated care
- Managing medical equipment as needed and following all established health protocols
- Supporting the student in building stamina and independence throughout the school year
