This contract opportunity offers the chance to work onsite full time, serving students across multiple locations near Riverside, CA. As an itinerant provider, you will bring expert therapy services to a variety of school environments, helping students reach their full academic and functional potential.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold a current California Physical Therapist (PT) license
- Experience in California school settings required
- Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred
- Comfortable traveling between different school sites during the week
- Willingness or experience in supervising PTAs is an asset
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative physical therapy services for students, adapting plans as needed
- Travel between assigned school sites, managing a versatile caseload
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other professionals
- Complete assessments and maintain thorough, accurate documentation
- Supervise physical therapist assistants, as applicable
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student success plans
- Maintain compliance with California school regulations and best practices
