Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students from preschool through 8th grade in an engaging school-based setting near South Bend, Indiana. This full-time, contract assignment spans from August 18 to June 7, with a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours, providing you the chance to impact a diverse range of students. The position focuses on speech-language services, with available caseloads in both a 5–8th grade building (serving approximately 35 students) and several private school locations working with Preschool–8th grade students.

As either an in-person or virtual provider, you’ll collaborate with staff and families, facilitating students’ communication development and progress in their academic environments. If qualified, SLPAs may also be considered for in-person roles.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain Indiana credentials
  • Experience in school settings strongly preferred
  • Comfortable supporting a range of caseload sizes (in-person: 65–70; virtual: 40–45)
  • Familiarity with IEP development and progress monitoring
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills
  • Bilingual abilities highly valued, though not required

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students in compliance with IEPs
  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and documentation
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Develop and implement intervention and therapy plans
  • Maintain accurate records and data for student progress
  • Support effective communication and advocate for students’ needs
