Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in University Park, PA

In this dynamic educational environment, you will work closely with an onsite district Occupational Therapist, receiving dedicated supervision and fostering strong collaborative relationships to help students achieve their fullest potential.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Pennsylvania COTA license required
• Experience or interest in school-based settings, working with K-12 students
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Flexibility and adaptability to support multiple schools
• Commitment to professional growth and student-centered care

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy support services under the guidance of the district OT
• Travel between four district locations as part of weekly schedule
• Implement individualized and group interventions to address students’ developmental, sensory, and functional needs
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP process as needed
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with educators and families
• Ensure a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all students

This contracted assignment runs from August 25, 2026, through May 28, 2027, and is full-time at 35 hours per week. You’ll play a key role in helping students build independence and success within their school communities.
