Step into a vital role supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) during the 2026–2027 school year. As a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school-based ASD setting, you'll collaborate onsite with a multidisciplinary team to provide essential speech and language services for a caseload of 40-55 students. This contract position offers a meaningful opportunity to make a positive impact on communication development and academic success.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Hold an active Speech-Language Pathologist license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Demonstrated experience working in a school environment, especially with ASD populations
  • Strong understanding of developing and implementing IEPs tailored to individual student needs
  • Familiarity with evidence-based intervention strategies for children with ASD
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills to engage with students, parents, and educators
  • Collaborative approach, adaptable to various student needs and interdisciplinary team settings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students within the ASD program
  • Conduct assessments, write evaluation reports, develop and update IEPs
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student progress and goal attainment
  • Track and document all therapy sessions, maintaining accurate student records and data
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing team discussions regarding intervention strategies
